Wessex Garages keep Bristol Sport motoring

Wessex Garages will keep the Bristol City and Bristol Rugby communications teams motoring this season by becoming the official automotive partner of Bristol Sport.

The popular motor dealership – known for quality and comprehensive care for all motorists – has a Used Car Supercentre on Pennywell Road, a Kia dealership on Feeder Road, as well as a brand new £5 million Nissan brand centre at Cribbs Causeway.

As part of their sponsorship, Wessex Garages will be providing a pair of next generation Kia Sportage cars to take the communications teams of Bristol City and Bristol Rugby to all away matches in 2016/17.

Adam Baker, head of communications at Bristol City FC, said: “Wessex Garages have always been big supporters of Bristol City and we’ve had a fantastic relationship with them for many years now.

“It’s great they will be extending their sponsorship to the Bristol Sport Group this year. The new Kia Sportage will ensure all those long miles travelled up and down the country keeping fans informed of the team’s progress will feel a whole lot smoother!”

Bristol Rugby head of communications Tom Tainton said: “Fans of Bristol Rugby will be looking forward to visiting some fantastic away venues on our return to the Aviva Premiership – and the same applies for the communications team. It’s great that we’ll be doing it in partnership with Wessex Garages.”
