We’re delighted that this year we can sponsor the Director in a Small Business Award at the Wales Director of the Year Awards. This category is for a senior manager from any type of company, of any size and from any sector based in Wales.
The individual must be new to a director level position, be awaiting promotion or be under 42 at the time of the National Awards ceremony in October 2016.
The awards take place at the SWALEC stadium in Cardiff on Friday, May 20.
As well as attending the awards ceremony on May 20, we will also be taking along two new Kia vehicles for attendees to have a look at and we will be on hand to answer any questions.
The institute is acknowledged world-wide as a leader in business and corporate governance. Joining the IoD has benefited our business greatly as we are able to gain advice, guidance and support from the IoD, which has more than 100 years of business experience.
The IoD aims to support members as they grow and develop their organisations. Benefits included as part of the annual membership fee cover resources such as business information, advice and research, access to professional one-to-one advice, places to meet and do business, and the chance to network across the UK both on and offline.
Robert Lloyd Griffiths OBE, Director – Wales at the Institute of Directors, said: “I would like to say ‘thank you’ to Wessex Garages for supporting our Awards. Its sponsorship is greatly appreciated.
“In 2016 we celebrate the sixth year of the IoD Wales Director of the Year Awards. The profile of these awards continues to exceed expectations as they attract entries from the very best in Wales. This was proved once again at the UK national Awards, which took place in London on October 23 where Wales once again triumphed.
“The search is now on for our 2016 winners as we champion success and highlight inspired business leadership. Category winners from the regional awards will be put forward for the IoD National awards which culminate in an Awards Lunch in London in the autumn of 2016.”
